Applying your Roll On Essential Oils
Directions of use in childbirth: Application can be made on the lower back and then with hands make small, circular movements on the lower back to comfort the labouring woman. It is important that the massage is guided by the mother as to what kind of movement and degree of pressure she finds most helpful. Also, application can be made on the lower abdomen to stimulate and enhance uterine contractions.
Directions of use post-partum: Application of this roller blend can be made on the pressure points of the wrist and neck or on the lower abdomen. If you are wishing to utilise this blend for breast milk production, apply to the fleshy breast tissue (avoiding the nipple), just after breast feeding. This method limits the contact of essential oils to your baby and gives time for the essential oils to be used by the body before the next feed. Wipe breasts with warm face washer prior to feeding to ensure there is no essential oil residue passed on to the baby.
